Synopsis

“Fix-Fox” is a comedic animated scene about an elderly man haunted by the fear of death.
Victor believes that if he falls asleep, he will die — and so he fights sleep relentlessly, trying to escape loneliness and his anxiety about mortality. More than anything, he believes he must stay awake to preserve the memory of his late wife; because if he dies, who will remember them?

Victor, an 87-year-old widower, builds a world filled with noise and machines to avoid the silence that terrifies him more than death itself. He surrounds himself with alarm clocks and a device he invented called Fix-Fox — a contraption designed to keep him awake using boxing gloves, cymbals, and a sudden shower from the ceiling.

Each night, Victor battles sleep as if it were a familiar enemy. But in a quiet moment, while gazing at a photograph of his late wife, Haya, he begins to realize that perhaps it is finally time to close his eyes.

Message:
The film explores the fear of loneliness and the power of human humor in the face of time and death. Victor fights sleep to escape silence, only to discover that peace arrives when he stops fighting. This is a story about acceptance, about love that endures even when there is no one left to talk to — and about the small, human laugh that saves us from emptiness.
